Owner tags

Organise your portfolio with tags

In addition to centre tags, owner-level tags were added to allow portfolio owners to control tags that could be assigned within all their centres.

This works the same as the centre-level tags in that you can assign permissions to the tags that dictate what the tags can be assigned.

The difference to this page are that you have the option to set the tag as private (which means that this tag cannot be seen at centre level and only users with the owner level tags permission are able to see and assign that tag). This ensures a level of security and consistency when it comes to using tags with a portfolio strategy in mind.

If a user attempts to add a tag that is already created in one of the owner’s centres, the user is offered to opportunity to upgrade that centre tag to an owner tag.

This will keep all the permissions that previously existed and add any additional permissions that were selected by the user when trying to create the owner tag.

This should also maintain the places the tag was assigned to before the upgrade. If two or more centres have the same tag and the owner tries to upgrade it to owner level, then the user will be shown a message to say to contact our support team.

Private tags

Private tags are a way that only users with specific permissions will be able to see or ally them to centres.
